NOT BUS POWERED. I was hoping for something bus powered to run with with my MacBook Pro. Sending it back for a refund. I guess I'm going to have to get a USB 3.0 enclosure and buy the Kanex Thunderbolt-to-USB 3.0 adapter instead.I did test this with my Samsung 840 EVO drive and it was super fast. Boot up in Mavericks (OS 10.9) was about 10-12 seconds.This item is actually a ThunderBolt to SATA adapter with an added SATA to MSATA adapter piggybacked on it. (see pictures) Comes with a screwdriver for installation. I did notice the entire board is slightly loose inside the enclosure, it did not seem to effect functionality at all in my brief testing.
