Just from using them they are really well made, and works great. Not cheap but for a mechanic it's way cheaper than a complete removal and a trip to the machine shop. Great tool for getting broken taps out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must have tool *by T***N on November 23, 2024* If you do a lot of tapping holes these can be a life saver ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Tool *by A***R on April 19, 2020* This removed a broken 1/2-13 tap in my Jeep TJ motor mount. They were extremely rusty, one broke off and after drilling it out and retapping the thread, I broke a tap. After much work with punches trying to break apart the tap I gave up on that idea. I could not turn the tap in the hole with the punch because it was broke off too deep in the hole. I tried to use this tool 3 times. On the 3rd time I got it right and the broken tap spun right out. Even if this did not work, It is a nice addition to a tool box. If it saves the day one time, it is well worth it. When something like this happens, you never know what will solve the problem for sure. Having this as an option is definitely worthwhile. In my case, it worked perfectly.
