The ballasts are amazingly tiny and fit into even my very tiny headlight compartments with no modifications. The light is a good white color and is strong at close range. They definitely don't carry as far as normal headlights. I notice this the most when it is dark, but I am on a partially lit or somewhat busy road. I find myself checking to see if the lights are on.Also, the ballasts do interfere with my radio and limit the ability to pick up weaker signals. Probably not an issue for most people, but I can't keep a signal for my full 40 mile commute if the lights are on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Had a faulty part, but seller was quick to send a replacement *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2015* I bought these to replace the dull halogens high beams I had to match my 55w HID 6000k projectors in my MINI.I ran into a few problems when installing these. Each bulb comes with an adapter to fit the application you need. The H7 adapter that came with mine was a two piece one. (A cylinder that slides into the flange held in by small tabs) One of the adapters came apart and would not hold the cylinder in place when sliding the bulb into position. Even after adjusting the tabs I still had the same problems. I had to install the adapter on the bulb outside of my high beam housings and finagle it in my housings as one unit. Even then, it still sat loose.After everything was installed and working I went for a drive to see how well the lights performed. The light that gave me trouble ended up shifting out of position causing the beam to shoot up and to the right. The colors do match my HID's and the bulb that isn't messed up does a better job than the halogens I had. I don't have my daytime running lights activated, so I noticed these lights will flicker when you first start your car. It will only last a few seconds, but it bothers me enough to get my DRL's activated again.EDIT: I've after I contacted the seller, they were quick to reply with a solution. I mailed the faulty assembly back and had a new one shipped to my door in a few weeks. Everything works as promised and installed perfectly. The ballast is small enough to tuck into the back of my headlight housings. I've changed my rating from a 2 to a 5. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars A good 6-MONTH THROW AWAY LED bulb. Junk! *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2016* Have had these installed for 5months an already one of the LEDs have stopped working. I tried to contact support but no one answers. Real crap. Then the throw on these are anything but the CREE I'm used to.
