Some reviewers I’ve read have said they don’t like that it doesn’t keep the coffee VERY hot, but the idea is to keep it warm without making it bitter. Many regular coffee makers have heater functions that last a lot longer, but the heater function on this lasts only 20 minutes, with not reset. The goal of this maker is a very nice, smooth coffee taste, so it’s not designed to make scalding coffee or to keep it endlessly warm.
