Review: Excilent product !!! - This is a great phone for the price. The camera is excellent take a little while to focus but when focused it takes beautiful pictures. The phone is kind of slow but not slow enough to annoy you. Screen resolution is excellent. Screen resolution and camera is up to par with apple. Light weight and comfortable in hands. Beautiful color I got the blue.
Review: Budget phone connects to 4G on Straight Talk - lots of software issues - This is a very nice budget phone. I was able to get it on sale for $50 so it was definitely worth it. I've been using it for a day or so, and I'll update this as I continue to use it. I migrated from a Mi Mix 2, so this is a step down in hardware and in build quality, but this one is about $225 cheaper! Build quality is over-all plasticy but solid and it looks very nice with a "metallicized" shine to the back (I got the blue one). The phone is sealed with a non-replaceable battery. Micro USB (why no type c? Come on guys!), headphone jack, and two speaker grills on the bottom. My one gripe about the build is the Micro USB plug is on the top - ugh! I guess another thing I don't like too much is the power button on the right with the volume on the left. Rather have both on the same side. As I mentioned in the title, this does connect to 4G (I'm on Straight talk). It updates to Android 8.1.0 (11/5/18 security update) - based on an e-mail from Blu, they are "working on a update to Android 9" - you can take that for what it's worth! It is Android Go, so it is a paired down version of Android that runs pretty smooth on the hardware. There is some lag opening up apps, but that's to be expected with the processor. It is most definitely a battery hog as others have mentioned. I have found on other Blu phones that I've had that their screen brightness seems to be much higher than others. I have the brightness turned almost all the way down and it's still very easy to see in my office area. Halfway through the day with moderate use and it's at 70%, so, not terrible, but not great. There is a battery saver button above the volume buttons, but I haven't tried it yet, so I can't comment on it. Internal storage after my apps installed is about 10GB free. I don't have any games except a card game so no heavy resources are used. Facebook runs fine and I use Messenger Lite. Other Android GO apps are available that are light-weight. Waze runs fine. Others such as eBay, Alexa, desertcart, Gas Buddy, Weatherbug Widget, Wyze camera, etc. all run fine. For now, it's a decent daily phone but as I noted, I don't play any games on it. So far, so good. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised with how well it's working out. My only semi-major issue so far is the fingerprint sensor is a little wonky and I usually need three or four touches to get it to unlock. I'll update in a week or so as I use it. ***First edit - I've noticed that the two speaker grills on the bottom only house one speaker. You can cover the left grill and the sound is all but muffled - cover the right grill and it sounds the same. Definitely want to keep the screen brightness set at about 15 - 20% to save the battery. As I mentioned above, this still is plenty bright for inside use. Still having trouble with the fingerprint sensor - wondering if it's a software issue. Think of this as a brand new 2016 phone and you won't be disappointed. ***Final edit - I've decided to return this phone. There are too many software glitches to deal with. The fingerprint sensor as I've mentioned before is just too annoying to deal with anymore. Several touches go unrecognized - the only way I've gotten it to work with any reliability is to touch and hold it for a couple seconds - not good. Another problem is sometimes apps just disappear (uninstalled by some software action in the background). Other times, apps will just be blank - for example, I use Next SMS instead of the default message app. About 30% of the time I open it, just shows a blank page - no texts, no menu, nothing. 30 minutes later, it's back - this has never happened on any other phone I've used and I've been using this app for years. Finally, the most irritating issue is that after a reboot or power off & on, the launcher switches back to the default launcher and I have to go into the apps menu and select Nova Launcher again as the default. Again, behavior I've never experienced since I've been using android going back to 2.x. So, in summary, I could live with the hardware limitations on this phone because I got it for $50 and I knew what I was getting - but the software issues were just too much to deal with on an ongoing basis. It's getting returned today.

### ⭐ Terrible product
*by K***Y on December 14, 2019*

I ordered this cell phone in April of 2019 and was happy with it until November of 2019. The phone doesn't work unless it is plugged in to the charger. I contacted Blu about the problems I was having and they pretty much wrote me off because I purchased the cell phone on Amazon. It's their product but they don't stand behind it. Don't waste your money on this phone. I will never purchase another Blu product. Wish I didn't have to give it any starts, but I"m forced to.
