You fill it with water and place in the freezer.. There you go, I gave you my secret family recipe for ice. But using these trays is like the Cadillac of ice cube trays! No more slamming the old plastic ones down praying you get the whole cube of ice.. Not with this bad boy!!! It's got silicone on the bottom so you just twist the tray and push the bottom and Viola!!!! A whole freaking cube! Yes you could just go spend the dollar at the gas station and get a bag of ice, but think of all the family fun you're missing out on not making your own from scratch!! Plus these trays come with lids so you can stack them without contaminating then with the bottom of the other trays funk! Aww yea!!!
