I didn't pay enough attention when I removed the old one! Obviously I figured it out, but only after trying to put it in the incorrect way the first time. It does what it should though, which is great. The only actual feedback I have is that I wish it weren't made of cardboard. I understand wanting to guarantee having constant customers, but I miss being able to simply wash the filter under running water and only replace it annually once it breaks down. As this is cardboard, washing isn't an option (trust us, we tried. About 30 mins later, I smell something burning and realized my apartment was filled up with smoke.
