I clip this to the top of my running vest and the metronome to build my cadence up. I like the mechanical volume controller so I can trim the volume easily on the run as the background noise of traffic increases / falls away. There are a range of metronome sounds, so I've chosen a fairly innocuous one as some people seem to find it a bit odd hearing a runner beeping as they run past them. Battery life is good, so far I've used it for a number of months and not changed the battery. It works well. I clipped it to my shirt/top so I could hear the beats. **Q: does it have Volume Control?
