The case is a single piece and doesn't offer the same protection my prior case, but I was will to try this one for the back ring holder/kickstand. When you first use it the ring locks down when not is use, which is good. That lasted about a week. Because of the floppiness it no longer works as a kickstand. The magnet works and the ring can be used as a stand, not just to hold it. Buttons depress well.
