I researched many other sheets online, but this one is the only one that was recommended to last and hold up as a tail light cover. I am planning on cutting it today, and am planning on using LED lights, as they run a bit cooler. I'll let you know how it goes. **Q: How does this take to sanding and polishing a rounded edge as well as drilling a hole??** A: It should work fine. I cut and rounded, then sanded the edge and it did just what you would hope for it to do. I think it will work for what you're wanting to do. **Q: what is the thickness in millimeters** A: The ones I received were 5mm (7/32") thick.
