Greenland Jacket

Seems to be a good quality jacket. I will be using it all year round. It should work well as a spring/fall jacket. I’ll wear a fleece underneath and layer through winter. I’m hoping to get the most out of it. We’ll see how it goes. Update #1: Full disclosure, this was purchased specifically to be paired with a Fjallraven Pile Fleece jacket my wife gifted me. I love that fleece and thought I’d wear it as a midlayer trying the Greenland jacket as an outer shell. So far, it’s held up to average February Chicago winter weather. I would like to point out a couple of observations. The jacket is tapered and cut for a slimmer fit, which is something to consider when layering. You may consider purchasing one size up. I plan to wear it through spring and fall, so I’m ok with the snug fit through this winter (hoping to get a proper winter coat next year). It definitely allows for many options. I’m looking forward to trying the wax on this jacket in a few weeks, when the rainy season begins. I’ll try to follow up with a final update as we transition into spring.

I bought this jacket for a fall trip to Lake Michigan. Although there was only a sprinkle of rain, it was quite chilly, big waves were breaking on the shore, and the jacket kept me warm and dry. It's pricey, but well worth it for style and durability. I'm 5'11", weigh about 165 lbs., and the Large fits me perfectly. I like the zipper and snap front closure, and perhaps best of all: No Velcro!

I love the coat except for the zipper. I bought a size 'L' for my odd frame. I am '5,7", 200 lbs and 44" chest. The jacket fits well in the shoulders and covers my butt. However, the sleeves are 2" too long; I'm used to this as I have to get all of my clothes tailored. The most important part of buying a coat for me is getting the shoulders then the chest correct. Besides this, I love the coat.

Love the jacket, but you will need to wear layers. It provides little to no protection in cold weather. Great for spring/fall!

My fiancé really likes it. Good for light rainy days.

Despite the product description, this jacket has NO filling. This is a good wind/rain jacket but definitely not a down jacket. Product name and description do not match those on the seller website, making it easy to mix up their different types of Greenland jackets.

Love this jacket. Durable and of high quality. Nice design. Doesn’t look like you beamed down from the starship Enterprise like so many outdoor jackets these day.

Gran bel capo. Giacca comoda, resistente e molto piacevole al tatto. Ha molte tasche, il materiale G1000 è ottimo e la sua fama è del tutto meritata. Senza ulteriore ceratura, resiste a piogge leggere. Trovo che le maniche siano un po' lunghe rispetto ad altre giacche simili, ma è una caratteristica che comunque trovo molto comoda quando uso la bici.

La chaqueta es muy fina, pero de un material resistente. Los acabados son de calidad (aunque no se si tanto para justificar el precio y eso que yo la compré muy por debajo de lo que costaba en la web de Fjallraven). En cuanto a la talla, compré la S fiándome de las reseñas y me queda perfecta. Mido 1,77 y peso 68 Kg. Mi complexión es delgada. Generalmente uso la talla M, aunque ciertas marcas, como The North Face, mi talla también es la S.
