And for MOST users, pretty much any SSD will work. However, when you have servers, you'll want to invest the extra in server-grade SSD's like these Intel units, which are designed to handle near-constant access, 24x7, for years upon years, and whose firmware is specifically calibrated to be used in RAID systems. So, in my particular use case, paying 3x as much for these units is a no-brainer, as I need guaranteed RAID reliability, not just better performance that the consumer SSDs provide. Reliability has been great, I've been using these Intel Server SSDs for years and never had a failure.
