One door didn't close and keeps popping back out. One of the cabinet doors have the handles installed at different heights.- the back of the unit is missing a piece of wood which presumably was done to cut costs on the non-visible side. It makes the unit less stable and easier to damage while moving.- the pre-drilled holes for installation of the top piece (it comes in two pieces) aren't drilled well.- it doesn't have two-sided entry like the traditional japanese furniture does, so make sure you can face it the direction in the picture.Summary: I'm reasonably happy with it, but the construction isn't great.
