The pheromones in Pro-Pest Pantry Traps will attract Indian Meal Moth, Almond, Raisin, Tobacco, and Mediterranean Flour Moths and Cigarette Beetles. Each package contains 6 traps. Take traps out of the plastic sleeve, fold trap into a triangular trap. Since pheromones are pre-loaded in the glue, it is ready to use! These pantry moth traps are easy to use, non-toxic, and extremely effective. The moth pheromones attracts the male moths and disrupt the mating process. These are the most effective moth traps we've found. To use, take one pantry moth trap out of the plastic sleeve, fold it into a triangular trap and place in infested area. That's it, they are pre-baited! The pantry moth traps can be hung or can be placed on a shelf. Change out as needed, or up to every two months. Each package contains six (6) traps

The exterminator said once we got rid of the food source the beetles would eventually go away - their life cycle can be 40-70 days. I wanted to help clear them out as fast as possible. The Pro-Pest Pantry pheromone traps worked fantastically. Easy to assemble and set inside your pantry and the beetles are attracted to them. I watched as beetles were attracted and made their way over to the traps where they got stuck. Then just throw away. We're now beetles free and can go shopping to replace all the food we had to throw away. I'm keeping a couple extras on hand as prevention. Best thing ever.

**Q: I did a search for carpet beetle traps. Brought me here. Does anyone know if it helps catch those annoying little suckers?**
A: This trap does not attract carpet beetles.   This trap is pre-baited with pheromones to attract: Indian Meal Moth, Almond Moth, Raisin Moth, Mediterranean Flour Moth, Tobacco Moth, and Cigarette Beetles.

**Q: Does this trap Tortrix moth for outdoor garden?**
A: I personally use these traps for indoor pantry moths which are about 1/2 inch long. Works well for me. You could give it a try....the only thing I would wonder about is if they got wet in rain but I don’t know.

**Q: does it catch weevils?**
A: In my experience, it only catches moths, in my case, carpet beetle moths.

**Q: Does this work on pantry beetles**
A: Yes, it definitely works on pantry beetles. Supposedly, only the males, so you still have to find the females, although they seem to be fewer. These saved my life. I was invested. I had the red flour ones that fly and were showing up in every room. Follow the directions. They are attracted to lights, so I put them next to lamps. I have a small but bright lamp on my kitchen counter and that was the most successful. I had to repeat this for months, by the way. Not pretty but effective.

I tried from autumn of 2019, till summer of 2020 to find some pantry moth traps that actually work. I purchased Catchmaster, Terro and Safer brands. Not a single moth was caught by any of them. These Pro-Pest traps were delivered to my home on Thursday. I set one up right away. Today is Tuesday and the trap has bagged 3 moths so far. I don't have a huge infestation or anything, so I figure that represents 80-90% of the moths in the house. Don't waste your time or money on any other traps. I don't think the other brands (except perhaps Black Flag which has caught 1 moth in a month or so) have any lure at all. Or if they do, the lure is just not working.
