Unfortunately, and I don’t know how to help you to avoid this, but there are some bunk bottles floating around out there, mixing freely with the good stuff it would seem and it appears to be a total toss up what you might receive or even find in store in person. I’ve noticed in the past year, that some bottles of this stuff I’ve picked up- which looked practically identical save for the ingredients, are a watered down version of the real deal- quite literally. So I’ll add this- Pete is amazing but not sure what’s going on over there, but be sure to check the ingredients label before you buy if you can (or when you receive it). The only ingredients should be peppers, vinegar and salt. That’s it. If you see water in the ingredients list, you got one of these weird watered down versions of Pete and that stuff is no Bueno.
