Brought before. Good for freezer or fish tank, to avoid accidental turning off. Stick well and don't drop off. If you gotba double plug though, you would only be able to use on one switch, as not enough room between switch.

I’m giving these 5 stars because they are brilliant and they do stick really well and stop little ones switching off plugs.. however I didn’t check my wall sockets and they’re curved at the top so don’t stick to mines 🤣 but that’s user error and no fault to the product.

I ordered these as my chest freezer keeps getting turned off accidentally costing quite a lot of money in wasted food. Due to the positioning of the switches on my socket, the cover didn’t quite fit however; I turned it on its side meaning the top of the switch was protected from being pressed. Also the double sided sticky tape supplied didn’t want to stick to the nickel plate. I stuck two small pieces of electrical tape to help secure it in place. I would recommend this product as although it didn’t quite fit my socket I can see how it would on a standard socket, also they were reasonably priced so I didn’t mind adapting it.

I bought these switch guards after inadvertently switching off the freezer in my garage. Be aware though, if your switch plate has a slight curve at the edges (mine and a lot of modern plates do) then these guards will not fit properly and securely. (Would get more stars if the description from the seller included this important information). But with a piece of duck tape, the switch is protected and does the job. I’ve fitted mine over a double socket and the guard does not interfere with the operation of the second switch. It’s enough of a deterrent to prevent and me think twice about switching that particular socket off.

Excellent value cover to stop switches being wither turned on or off by accident. Easy to install within one minute and should fit 99% of UK switches. Attaches by double sided sticky tape so easy to remove if needed. Highly recommend, fast delivery and not going to break the bank purchasing them.

I wanted to stop anyone switching off the freezer by accident - it has happened! But these don’t work on a double socket and in any case the glue isn’t strong enough.

I was hoping these two covers would fit side-by-side on this double socket, but due to the size of the plugs there is no room for them. I was thinking about maybe cutting them down to size, or even changing the plugs to narrower versions, but then I remembered the review from "Sarah" and thought I would try it this way! If your goal is to stop something being switched off, putting them across both switches horizontally works perfectly. And now I have a spare switch cover to use somewhere else, happy days! Nice and solid, good quality, comes with about 10x as much double-sided sticky tape as you actually need. Very happy with these despite the size issue. No more unexpected staring at a blank computer screen wondering where all my work's gone, haha.

After my twins decided that the best game ever was to play with the buttons on the tumble dryer, turning it on and pressing on the heat switch, I needed to find a way to stop them being able to press the buttons without making them completely inaccessible to adults. These switch covers are perfect for the job. They were so easy to install and I've been able to trim one of them to the shape of the panel, using a normal pair of scissors. The toddlers have completely lost interest in the dryer now!
