Hair products are not new to him, so he knows enough to use them sparingly. A small amount of this white cream barely does anything, but when he adds just a tad more, his hair looks flat and lifeless. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground, no matter how many times he’s tried. Neither of us notice any additional shine, although it is advertised as having a semi-gloss finish. It seems like it would compete with the other perfumeyness that is the body wash, deodorant, personal fragrance, shampoo, etc. But - my daughter loves this. She just got a pixy cut that she prefers to wear in a fauxhawk, and this pomade really floats her boat. The scent is nice, fresh without being overpowering unless you're sensitive to mint (which my neighbor is, so I never wear it around her if I think of it). My hair is lank and limp and this really doesn't do anything for it.
