Probably just as well since very rarely are the instructions clear anyway. I'm going to wait and let the husband put it together just to be on the safe side. The parts were packaged well to prevent scratching, but the 4 bolts were just pitched in the box. They could have easily been tossed out with the packing material.I was confused when the box arrived at my house because the outside label said Box 2 of 6. :o I also received the invoice of the 19 chairs that the company, Lexington Modern, had sent to Amazon.In closing, I am very pleased with the look of the stool and can't wait to get it put together.
