### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great collection of deadmau5's better previous works

Deadmau5 has had a number of strokes of good luck, and he's had some misses. These are some of his better, luckier strokes. There are some good songs on here. Honestly there are some AMAZINGLY good songs on here, most notably Ghosts 'n' Stuff and I Remember, both of which are older tracks (wow time flies) but worthiest highlights of a "5 years" collection. Deadmau5 tends to have a style of music that has a rather simple but loud beat--kick-snare-kick-snare--but honestly if you haven't invested in Deadmau5 before and want a good introduction to his music there isn't a better way to go than with this. His most recent album, "while 1<2", is a more artistic and abstract approach to his own music, which is good because people producing electronic music need to explore musical ideas better than just DnB etc. But that is mostly a progression beyond this album of older tracks. So this album is a good snapshot of where he's coming from, while not necessarily where he's going.

This is an outstanding compilation of Deadmu5’s best tunes from the past few years done by very talented DJs/remixers. Not only that this is an awesome 2 disc CD, you get these in the highest quality 20Hz-22kHz sound quality and not in a compressed MP3 or AAC (used in iTunes! Where some musical data is removed to save space).I like hearing all the data, all the music. The MP3 for this double CD is $9.49 and the CD is from here in Amazon for $10. You become the judge for those 51 cents.

I got this for my boyfriend's birthday since he loves Deadmau5. He really liked the music on the first CD (basically the greatest hits). Unexpectedly, though, he loved the second one even more! The second CD is full of remixes which he liked even more than the originals. And really, getting even one CD for $10 is already a great deal, so if you like Deadmau5, this should be a no-brainer.
