The black one works with my LG G3 phones, even though it is not "the cable that came with the device" I'm always being prompted to get. Those devices though will charge incredibly slow without the proper cable and I was not interested in paying LG's retail price to replace the one which came with the device when it crapped out. Now, the white one, for some reason, does not always yield the same result for me. The connection is touchy and you can't move it around or it will disconnect. So, despite the snazzy good looks, I suspect all in all it's just a charging cable waiting to kick the bucket. The braid does keep it from tangling all up on itself, and the 6' length is awesome.
