Review: lots of light - Used to light up my back yard which goes down hill approx. 150'. Lights up the whole yard. I think it works better than the 100 or 150 W incandescent floods I used to use. Only 14.5W. So I tried one over the kitchen sink to replace a 15W CFL flood there. Instant on, vs waiting for the cfl to warm up for full light. The led puts out more lumens for the same wattage, and the 5000k color is so "bright" I hardly have to use the overhead fixture any more in the evening. I am hoping these bulbs will last longer than I do.

**Q: is it instant on**
A: Yes it is instant on.

**Q: The bulb I'm replacing is a 150w/120v flood light. Will these work? I know the wattage will be fine, but don't know if the lower voltage is an issue.**
A: In the USA, practically every residence and business that uses AC electricity uses 120 volts, NOT 110 volts. Why anyone would advertise their electrical product as 110 volts is anyone's guess, probably from someone who does not really know what the USA voltage is.

**Q: Are these 5000k?**
A: 5000K? about 20 bucks good bright light

**Q: Can this be used in outdoor motion sensing fixtures?**
A: AC, the EcoSmart lights listed can be used for outdoor applications.
I have the same product and they do a terrific job lighting up my woods.

We had compact fluorescent bulbs in our outside floodlight fixtures that were installed by the previous owner of our home, and they took a few minutes to reach full brightness, and even then still seemed a bit dim. Cleaning the lens didn't help, as the area illuminated was minimal. When they began to burn out, we started replacing them with these bulbs, which come on at full brightness immediately, have a wide area of illumination, and the light extends much further from the fixture. These project a bright white beam of light. If these last as long as promised, I will be happy. This is the second package we've purchased of these bulbs, and are happy with them so far.
