Thanks to the other reviews I already ordered my butyl tape and had the screws i wanted to use so when it arrived i was ready to go. I installed mine on a 14 foot wedge front cargo trailer and struggled with where to install. I placed it closer to front of unit but a couple of feet off center. The trailer isn't near as thick as the inner trim piece so i constructed a wooden frame to finish out the inside and give the screws from the top more to hold onto. I can still use the ring if i cut it down but haven't done that yet. I installed this with 4 of the smaller side vents and what a difference it makes. would recommend to anyone. Not a real strong steel construction but seems like it could take some abuse and still be good.
