Slow, but Angry

Black metal sounds best when the vocals are really hateful. Kampfar are good at sounding hateful.This album is a lot slower than 'Mellum Skoglede Aaser', but it is still very angry. It has a strong folky element, a bit like Ulver.

It is a black metal album of hate, incredible rage

It is a black metal album of hate, incredible rage,..it' s very rootsy and it swings like Hell on fire. I've had people ignorant to BM and converted them into surprised new fans of this great band of the genre. Lyricwise Kampfar nail it like only the few. A true gem it is! A must buy.
