**Q: How many nanometers are the holes in the bags?**
A: I don’t know about nanometers . However I tried to use it to filer coffee ground . The mesh was too large for regular coffee grounds . Hope that helps

**Q: what is the perfect grinding type for this filter for not having sedimental layer at the bottom?**
A: I do a course ground and I have very minimal sediment at the bottom. I don’t think you can avoid it.

**Q: Do you have to use the paper filters along with this strainer?**
A: No you don't. You put the freshly ground coffee in these filters and that's all you need. Makes great cold brew

**Q: what these are made out of? I am wating to use them with boiling water, and leave them in a pot to stain out spices. would they do well with hot water**
A: I think they would do fine with boiling water, they are a mesh fabric material, pretty sturdy. We use it for large batches of cold brew iced coffee, so I haven’t used boiling water with them, but I’ve rinsed and washed them in hot water and they do fine.
