These splitters are not grounded. They do PoE power + network to the devices that they're plugged into, but once you tap any metal, such as attempt to connect an HDMI cable to an SBC powered with these splitters, they power down and short out.I intended to use these to power very low-power SBCs, which I also need a monitor as a console to interact with. I don't even get the chance to connect the HDMI cable to the connector, the moment metal touches metal, poof, no power, splitter goes dark, SBC powers down. Remove the metal to metal contact, splitter powers back up, SBC powers back up.Lovely.
