But you will miss out on all of the benefits of having RICO stamped on the product. That's worth a lot - to Rico. **Q: has anyone experienced mold problem with 72% humidity pack that comes with this product ?** A: i use Legere Tenor Sax Reeds. Completely Non-Toxic and synthetic. So never have any problem with mold. I also wash and dry after each play. Hope this helps **Q: Does this case have numbered slots for the reeds?** A: My case has numbers on the slots but they are difficult to see because the numbers are the same color as the slots (black). **Q: Are the slots wide enough to hold bass clarinet reeds?** A: Yes.
