Works perfectly. Exactly as described. Just a simple low power, high speed, USB hub at a nice price for a quality product.

So, my old USB hub was basically breaking down anything that had been connected to it was starting to randomly turn off and back on again. And so, I knew I needed a new one to replace it thankfully I had been buying some other items from Anker and saw this. And so, I bought one now I would have also gotten the USB-C version but something I was getting at the time had me guessing that that port was going to be used so I had to pass on it. But this thing has been amazing. First off, its small and sleek in fact I believe I'd have to have 3 of these to match the size of my last one. It perfectly aligns with the back of my PC and the lighting from it isn't even noticeable unlike my last one which I had to throw a piece of tape over it to "Turn off the light" on it. All in all, a fantastic device despite only having four ports it doesn't feel like a deal breaker to me. At the time of writing, it's currently on sale but i know I'd EASILY buy a few more of this item just to have a few more ports to work with.

I've purchased several USB hubs in the past, and my biggest complaint was always the same - data lag. Anything plugged into the computer via the hub always seemed to be just a little bit slower than if it had been plugged directly into the computer. As a result, I haven't purchased a USB hub in more than 20 years. So either the technology has improved, or this particular hub is better than the ones I purchased in the past, but in either case, I am noticing no such difficulties with this Anker USB hub. This hub is sleek, the cables slide into the ports easily and remain in place, and the data transfers from the peripheral to the computer just as quickly as if it had been connected directly. And with modern computers having fewer USB ports while users have many more peripherals (mice, external hard drives, fans, printers, etc.), a separate USB port has become essential. This is a good product at a good price.

I picked this USB hub up because I was running out of ports on my laptop, and it solved that problem right away. The functionality is solid. It does exactly what you expect, plug it in and instantly get more usable ports without any setup. I’ve been using it for a mouse, keyboard, USB drive, and even an external hard drive with no major issues. The port expansion is really useful. Having four extra ports makes a big difference, especially if you’re working with multiple accessories at once. It keeps everything connected without constantly swapping cables. The ease of use is great. It’s completely plug-and-play, and I didn’t have to install anything or mess with settings. It just works as soon as you plug it in. The versatility is nice for everyday setups. I’ve used it at a desk and also tossed it in a bag for travel, and it works just as well in both situations. One thing to keep in mind is the charging capability. It technically can power small devices, but it’s not meant for charging phones or anything heavy, so don’t expect it to replace a charger. There are no switches or power controls, which keeps it simple, but it also means everything stays on once plugged in. That hasn’t been a big issue for me, but it’s something to be aware of. The build quality feels good. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy, and the cable length is decent for most setups without creating clutter. I did notice that if you’re running a lot of high-power devices at once, it can occasionally need a quick unplug/replug, but that’s pretty normal for hubs like this. For the price, the value for money is really good, especially if you just need more ports without spending a lot. Overall, this is a reliable and simple solution for expanding USB ports, just don’t expect it to handle heavy charging or power-hungry devices.

After purchasing a new laptop a few months ago, I knew that I would have to purchase a USB hub, as my laptop only came with 3 ports, and I needed more than just that. The result of this led me to look online, where I stumbled across this product (Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra Slim Data USB Hub with 2ft Extended Cable) as it was Amazon’s choice in USB Hub’s. After receiving the product, and using it for a few weeks, I decided to purchase another! I am excited to discuss why I like this product, and why I think that you, too, will have a great experience with ANKER (regarding this product). As usual TLDR at bottom. PRO’s -This USB hub is extremely modern and slim, which I really like the look of! About the same thickness of my laptop (maybe around 1cm or so). It is also very light, which makes it easy to throw in my bag when I need to take it on the go. -I can run my webcam, microphone, mouse, and keyboard all on the same hub! This allows for me to utilize four separate products in a hub that only takes up one port in total! This really helps since the amount of USB based products that I used greatly outnumbers the amount on my computer, and I wouldn’t be able to use products I need without this hub! Do keep in mind there is a limit for the number of devices you can place on this hub, (check on listing description for more information), but I have had no problems connecting and running what I need to on this hub). -USB Hub comes with a warranty card and instructions which are both appreciated. Also goes into detail about customer service and support, set up details, and other information regarding this product. -USB Hub is available in black (not sure if there are any other colors), but they really made a nice-looking product! Sure, there are some cheaper ones, but in my opinion, I much prefer the look and feel of this product, almost premium. Middle Ground (Product information that is not amazing but not awful) -Cable length is advertised as 2ft, which is correct. I do feel that YMMV depending on how far away your desktop PC is from where you need the USB hub to be. I use a laptop, so I never have any problems with cable length, but I don’t think if they added an extra foot or two to the length would really hurt the product. (Might be a good idea for a future model). -Product feels a tiny bit flimsy, nothing that I worry about, but be cautious of holding it too hard, as it is already thing with multiple hollowed out points for the USB slots. -There is a small LED light that indicates the USB Hub has power. It is not bright at all but sometimes that you may want to note if any light at all bothers you. Really hasn’t been a problem for me, and if it is for you, just get a piece of tape. CON’s -Fortunately, I haven’t had anything that would be a con for this product, it just is all around a great product, which is why I feel it deserves 5/5 stars. If you are looking for a USB hub, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed! TLDR: Excellent USB Hub all Around. Double check how much cable length you need (as this is only 2ft) but asides from that highly recommend.

Anker has some of the best products. The Anker hub performed as needed with no issues and has a nice long cord on it.

Great USB hub. I can plug in several thumb drives and charge my iPhone or iPad at the same time. I usually purchase Anker devices because of their performance and functionality. I was introduced to this brand some years ago and still trust their products.

Easy to use. Plug in and no need for installation or additional app. Cord is perfolength to lay next to laptop and not put pressure on USB port, but not so long that there is extra cord to get in the way. Perfect to get my keyboard, mouse and headphones out of the way and still have a dedicated port for UsB storage sticks on the laptop itself. Works well. New packaging. Great price.

I needed a slim USB expansion for my Microsoft Office Pro to accomodate mouse, ext HD and variouse USB drives whilst I'm travelling. Excellent quality, very small footprint - works a treat.

Ne ho comprati diversi per il mio PC e anche per altri dispositivi in casa e ufficio. Questo hub Anker è davvero ben fatto: piccolo, leggero ma stabile e affidabile. Il cavo da 61 cm è comodo per adattarsi a qualsiasi configurazione, e le 4 porte USB 3.0 funzionano perfettamente anche con chiavette, tastiere, hard disk esterni e lettori di schede. La velocità di trasferimento è ottima, e non ho mai riscontrato problemi di compatibilità o rallentamenti, nemmeno con più periferiche collegate contemporaneamente. L’hub è anche bello da vedere, con un design minimal ed elegante che si abbina bene a Macbook, desktop o laptop. Il fatto che sia plug & play lo rende praticissimo: lo colleghi e funziona, senza bisogno di driver o configurazioni. Per il prezzo pagato è un accessorio indispensabile, e considerando che è Anker, la qualità si sente tutta.

De momento ha funcionado sin problemas. Lo utilizo para poder tener el portátil elevado y conectar el teclado, el ratón y una tarjeta de sonido externa con solo un USB. Incluso sin ser alimentado, no da problemas de alimentación. El único problema que tuve fue a la hora de actualizar el firmware de la tarjeta de sonido, que tuve que conectarla directamente al portátil, ya que si no daba error, pero esto pasa con prácticamente con todos los hub USB, no creo que sea algo específico de este modelo. En general estoy contento con la compra, es muy pequeño, pesa muy muy poco y el cable es de una longitud perfecta si quieres tener el portátil elevado 10-15 cm para evitar problemas de espalda y cuello. El cable parece que va a durar, y pesando tan poco y siendo tan pequeño, ni se nota si te lo tienes que llevar en la mochila. Estoy contento con el producto y lo recomiendo, de hecho es posible que compre otro para llevarlo siempre en la mochila del portátil y poder dejar el que tengo en el escritorio de casa.
