She has to stretch everyday to keep her muscles flexible. Since getting the power plate, miraculous healing has taken place. (By the way, she has had every type of therapy from rolfing to active release - you name it. Active release was awesome with the right therapist, some therapist not as good as others. You do have to make sure the therapist is good.) But the power plate allows for deep tissue stretching and healing. Her flexibility has improved my leaps and bounds. She swears by the power plate. When she reads a bad review or a review saying it's all hype, for instance when it say it's like those shaker machines in the 60's. She gets so upset. She is living proof of the power plate works! It works, it works!!! We highly believe in the power plate and it has made all the difference in the world in her stretching routine. It breaks up scar tissue. It has helped with scholiosis too. It also rebuilds muscles and she can't live without it! She used to be in advance ballet and says if only I had this machine then, I would have been unstoppable. She loves the machine. She actually has the power plate my5. We recently purchased the my3 for a nephew who was just diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and the power plate is amazing on lengthening muscles.
